Appointment Insurance

The recommended workflow is to update patient insurance via the front desk prior to the patient checking in via the device. This ensures the appropriate details have been updated including co-pay for today’s appointment. 

We recommend only surfacing a message about insurance if the patient is ineligible by the time they reach the co-pay screen in the workflow, and in this case the message would drive them to the front desk to resolve this.
